Ken Nakata received the degrees in applied chemistry from the Tokyo University. In 1996, He joined Sumitomo Electric Ind. and has been involved in research and development of GaN HEMT for over a quarter of a
century. He has contributed to the first commercialization of the RF GaN amplifiers from the first stage, he currently leads a device development team for RF GaN HEMT.
